VarSee Lung is currently available for research use only, not for diagnostic use or routine cancer screening. Contact BioMarkIQ to ask about research-use access in your location. Your clinician can advise you about established screening options.

Does VarSee Lung test for every cancer?
No. VarSee Lung focuses on lung-cancer research. BioMarkIQ is developing further disease programmes toward multi-cancer early detection; VarSee Lung is not an all-cancer test.
Why build one disease at a time?
Different cancers have different biology. We start with a focused panel and model for each disease, studying sensitivity and specificity before connecting programs into a broader system. Lung cancer comes first.
What is a mixture of experts?
A mixture of experts combines specialist machine-learning models through a gating or combining layer. Our science pages illustrate the architecture and the different questions each part addresses.
Does a biomarker panel always outperform one marker?
No. Complementary signals can add information, but a useful improvement must be demonstrated with an appropriate comparison in the intended population. Adding markers alone is not proof of better performance.
Are the interactive examples VarSee results?
The interactive examples illustrate scientific ideas. They use synthetic patterns or hypothetical assumptions, rather than VarSee study results.
Is multi-cancer early detection available?
Multi-cancer early detection is our longer-term ambition. Our first product, VarSee Lung, focuses on lung cancer and is available for research use only.
